Celebutopia Palpatine review of Dark Night….
Wild beast. Darker than black. Macabre. Bigger than life. Violent. Operatic. All those terms could describe the new Dark Knight film, but they are not enough. I just watched the movie in a cold, rainy night here where I live and I must say this was a hell of a movie experience. I recognize Im a big comics fan and watch all the movies based on them. But this was like a kick in the guts, its like feeling the Batmobile running over you with a vengeance. If someone thought the X-Men 2 or Spider-Man 2 were perfect, then this could be described as sublime. Awesome performances by Bale, Ledger, Gyllenhaal (Thanks God they got a real actress), Cain, Eckhart and even Freeman.
And about the Ledger thing. He is just a demon performer in the movie. Its really sad he died because if he was able to do something like the Joker at his young age…I dont know what he could do in the near future. So please go see it and put a smile in your face.
