Thousands Say Good Bye to a Comic Legend

Over 6,000 fans, friends, and family, where in attendance at the funeral for the recently deceased Bernie Mac. Paying tribute to a comic legend with the likes of Richard Pryor and Red Foxx. Cedric The Entertainer even cracked a joke stating that even in his death, he is still the hottest ticket in town. Amongst those in attendance was the Mayor of Chicago who said:

“He wanted to help get children away from a life of crime and violence, That’s why he’s the king of comedy. He never lost his soul in Chicago.”

Bernie Mac Died 8-9 in a Chicago area hospital from complications with pneumonia.
