‘Bangkok’ not looking too Dangerous

The only movie out in wide release this weekend is “Bangkok Dangerous,” starring Nicolas Cage. A remake of their own 1999 film, the Pang Brothers tell the tale of an American hit-man in Thailand who kills without remorse.

He bonds with a young hustler (Shahkrit Yamnarm) and falls in love with a deaf-mute woman. There’s some murders, vengeance, love and some John Woo-style action. Oh, and Cage is sporting quite the mullet.

What about this doesn’t sound like blockbuster here? You know, except the script. The plot. And the mullet.
