Beyonce: Determined to become a ‘legend’

The usually modest Beyonce Knowles reckons she over being a ‘pop-star’ and is aiming at becoming a ‘legend’ or ‘icon’…..(I always understood that becoming a legend/icon was usually based on what ordinary people thought of you, and that to become a legend usually means that you are most likely DEAD!).
She tells Marie Claire magazine that she is fed up with the label of being the “hot girl” in movies such as Austin Powers in “Goldmember” and “Dreamgirls” and that she is hoping her next movie role – as jazz great Etta James in Cadillac Records will show off her talents as an actress and get people to take her more seriously.
Apparently she was exhausted after filming, but no doubt some poor soul was on hand to tend to her every need…

Let her sling burgers for a living or pick up my trash twice a week or eek out a meager existence like 99% of the population does, then we will talk about being exhausted.
Hey Beyonce, no one forced you to take those “hot girl” roles. You have to start at the bottom and work your way up. You are just another half-assed singer/actor. Stop believeing your own hype and get over yourself.
I am not going to go and see that Etta James even if she pays me.
