Christina Aguilera inks Target deal
Christina Aguilera is on Target.
Pictured here with her infant son, Max Lirion, as she leaves the SoHo Grand hotel Thursday, Aguilera just signed on with Target to release an album exclusively through the retailer.
Her greatest hits CD “Keeps Gettin’ Better: A Decade of Hits” will be released only at Target. The CD will hit stores Nov. 11 and will feature two new songs as well as rerecorded versions of two of her other hits, “Genie in a Bottle” and “Beautiful.”
Other acts have inked deals with big retailers. Wal-Mart has deals with The Eagles, Journey, and Garth Brooks.
Target exclusively released John Legend’s “Live from Philadelphia” in January and has had other exclusive releases of special edition albums by the likes of Alicia Keys and Carrie Underwood.

And I heard AC/DC’s new album is going to be sold exclusively through Wal-Mart. Talk about your sell-outs.
