Gordon Ramsay is innocent, but gross

I’m not sure this makes it better, but celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has been cleared any “rule breaking” in a recent episode of his BBC show, “The F Word” in which he went “sky fishing” and ate the fresh heart of a puffin.

Despite receiving 42 complaints (consider me 43), the TV watchdog agency Ofcom concluded that the sequence was not in breach of any rules because it happened in Iceland, where the puffin forms a popular part of the national diet. And they said that the bird were killed in a humane way with minimal suffering.

Viewers complaints said that killing puffins was cruel and the local tradition of eating their fresh hearts was offensive. I just think it’s gross.
