Hudgens has new home

When I was 19, I was living out of the bottom of a bunk bed and about ten square feet of college dorm room space.

Not so much for Vanessa Hudgens. The 19-year-old actress shelled out $2.75 million on a mansion. She took her “High School Musical” paychecks and poured them into a six-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom, 5,200 sq ft house in Studio City, California.

The real estate listing says:
“This is a spectacular old-world Tuscan, architectural manor with Moroccan influences and city light views.

“It has amazing custom stacked stone, saline Pebble-Tech pool/spa, waterfalls, cabana, BBQ island, hardwood and stone floors, the ultimate gourmet kitchen, Thermador appliances, windows, copper sinks, Arte de Mexico wrought iron and a wine cellar with glass doors.”

Hudgens told reporters about the impending purchase during the Teen Choice Awards in August.

She said: “My favorite thing about being in Los Angeles is probably just being in my house. I actually just bought a new house, so I will be able to stay there now!

“I’m still in the process of buying it, so I am kind of freaked out. My family actually found it for me so I’m glad they approve as well.”

Yeah, my mom is just proud that I haven’t been evicted yet.

Good for her. I live in a van down by the river.

Must be nice. Now take some of that HSM money and shave your bush.
