Naomi Campbell blames 9/11 attacks for her behaviour at airport!
Where do these celebs get off? Now we have supermodel Naomi Campbell blaming the events of 9/11 for her spat with British Airways (BA).
She was escorted off a plane at Heathrow in April and taken into custody after spitting at a police officer during a fight over her luggage. She was sentenced to do community service in London but claims that she was provoked after a racial slur.
Campbell was once a loyal BA customer, but says now that she will not set foot on another BA plane (big sigh of relief) as she feels the 9/11 attacks have changed air travel for good. No shit? A vast majority of people feel like this but they don’t go around assaulting people because of it, what a poor excuse…
She says, “I think after 9/11 you can’t say anything anymore on a plane. I’ve flown British Airways for years, since I was a child. The stewardesses will tell you that I would get on a plane, put on the blanket and go to sleep. I’ll never fly that airline again, but nothing’s really lost. I did get my luggage. I was reunited with my YSL (Yves Saint Laurent), and everything was cool.”
Just goes to show how shallow she really is doesn’t it?
