Catwalk star talks catfight
From the catwalk to cat fight.
On an episode of the Tyra Banks show set to air Oct. 8, reality show contestant Bianca Golden spoke about an airport brawl between Golden and her mother and “Hairspray” star Nikki Blonsky and her father back on July 29 in the departure lounge of the Providenciales International Airport in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Golden’s mother was reported to have sustained serious injuries while Blonsky was arrested on assault with actual bodily harm charge and common assault. Golden was charged with assault with actual bodily harm. Blonsky’s father, Carl, was charged with grevious bodily harm, which means the victim was so injured they needed medical care.
Bodily harm charges have a maximum sentence of two years while the common assault has a 90-day ceiling. Carl’s charges carry a five-year maximum sentence.
According to Golden, her family was at the airport returning from a family reunion for her dying grandfather.
Nikki Blonsky allegedly became rude to her aunt and an argument erupted.
Golden claims Blonsky’s father “punched” her mother: “He knocked her out. He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back and when she stumbled back the whole family got up and attacked my mom.”
Nikki Blonsky then “(took) her foot and kick(ed) my mom in her vagina, and that’s when my mom fell out completely,” said Golden. “When Nikki kicked my mom I went and grabbed her arm and she grabbed my earring. Her mom sat on her to get her off of me cause her mom saw what was happening and that was that.”
Golden said her mother was bleeding internally and was airlifted to the hospital with a broken nose and a fractured skull.
“Her face is still black and blue,” the reality contestant said.
A rep for Nikki says: “Since this is a pending legal issue, we’ve been advised by her lawyer not to comment.”
I have a comment for you – if the Blonskys had done that to my mother, I’d be facing a lot more than assault charges. Just sayin’…
