Justin and Jessica stump for Obama
God bless the godless, Hollywood elite! Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel came together today to become the latest Hollywood couple to endorse Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. In town for the PGA’s Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, the two spoke before a Las Vegas crowd at a public rally for Obama.
“We’ve never publicly endorsed before. But we’ve never been so inspired by one person,” Timberlake said. “I’m not here as some dude who writes goofy songs. Me and Jess, we’re here as Americans. We’re here as humans because this is something we had to do.”
Biel pointed out that the next president could have a say in the legality of abotion by appointing a U.S. Supreme Court justice. Biel said: “Nobody should be able to say what you can do with your body.”
“I give Jess the right to choose where we go to eat all the time,” Timberlake joked. “The funny thing is, what the woman chooses is usually right.”
