Miley possible BF gets dad’s OK
Miley Cyrus’s boy toy of the moment, Justin Gaston, has her father’s seal of approval.
The Disney teen queen just celebrated her sweet 16, but dad Billy Ray Cyrus says her relationship with 20-year-old Justin Gaston is fine with him.
“Justin’s a good friend. A good friend of the family,” Billy told PEOPLE magazine. “I met Justin as I was hosting Nashville Star and I introduced the two of them. He’s a good kid. Great heart. Lives for the light and he’s very talented.”
Gaston joined in on the weekend celebration during which 5,000 fans overran Disneyland for an exclusive Miley Cyrus concert and birthday celebration.
“He’s here,” Miley told Access Hollywood Sunday. “He’s celebrating with the rest of my friends, so that’ll be very nice.”
Gaston and Billy Ray performed “Achy Breaky Heart” together and later Gaston and Miley cuddled while watching the closing fireworks.
“(Justin) actually reminds me a lot of myself when I was 20 years old and I was living and searching for the dream,” Billy Ray said. “He’s got a great heart and soul, and a lot of determination. I think that’s the true measure of a man, is when you measure his heart.”
