Robbins gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Tim Robbins is a star and now has a star. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday – next to that of his long-term partner Susan Sarandon.
The actor, 49, said he was “really honored” to receive the 2,371st plaque on the star-studded stretch of Hollywood Boulevard, a street he frequently walked when he first arrived in Tinseltown as a teen.
“I used to take the bus from here to Burbank to go to work. When the bus was late, I would walk up and down and throw my cigarettes down,” said the “Shawshank Redemption” star. “Now I have the honor of having this done to my star.”
