‘Bachelor’ babe arrested
Mary Delgado, a former NFL cheerleader and once the sweetheart of ABC’s “Bachelor” Byron Velvick was arrested for unruly behavior at a Del Rio, Texas bar.
The reality TV winner, who accepted the televisied proposal in 2004, was arrested when she refused to leave the border-town bar. Delgado, 41, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting arrest. She posted bail about an hour later with the help of Velvick.
She earned the extra charge of resisting arrest when she allegedly started screaming at officers in the squad car and kicked the radio.
Delgado has a history anger issues. She was arrested in 2007 in Florida after she allegedly punched Velvick in the face. She was charged with one count of domestic battery in that incident, but the charge was later dropped.
The truly shocking part of this story is that, though the two haven’t gotten hitched, the reality couple is still together.
