Baskett: Hef is like a father
Talk about daddy issues. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett said Hugh Hefner is more like a father than a guy his fiance slept with. Repeatedly. In many, many, many positions.
“Hef is like a father to her so he’s going to be the one to give her away,” Baskett told an ABC affiliate in Philadelphia Tuesday. “That’s why I wanted his blessings and her mom’s blessing.”
His fiance, Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson, starred in “The Girls Next Door” along with two of Hefner’s other girlfriends and, um, I’m going to go with parenting Kendra was not on the agenda. Unless there was some role playing.
It hasn’t seemed to hamper Baskett’s affections, though.
“Kendra has one of the biggest hearts and that’s one of the things that really drew me to her,” he said. “Both of us like to stay home and wear sweats (more) than go out and party. Ever since I met her, this is the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. And every day she does something else that makes me fall in love with her.”
The couple will wed at the Playboy mansion in June.
