Mel B. and Monaco to go burlesque
Don’t worry – the nudity is going to be, uh, classy.
Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown (also known as Eddie Murphy’s baby mama) and soap star Kelly Monaco, both “Dancing With the Stars” alumnae, will take to the Las Vegas stage this spring.
The two are set to star in PEEPSHOW, a topless burlesque show scheduled to open in March at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Neither celeb will go topless, but they’ll be surrounded by showgirls showing lots of flesh. The duo will star for several months, but a rotation of celebrities is expected to headline PEEPSHOW.
Brown said she will be “scantily clad, but in a classy way.”
Monaco’s character in the show will be “Little Bo Peep,” a timid and lonely girl who is guided by Brown’s character, “Peep Diva.”
“This is an original show,” Brown told PEOPLE. “The Peep Diva is a diva, but it’s all about empowering Kelly’s part.”
“I’m very nervous and very excited,” said Monaco. Honey, you should be.
Does this sound a little stupid to anyone else? Peep Diva? Might need to vomit a little.
