Walters: ‘The View’ girls are gal pals
Forget the screaming harpy act, “The View” women get along just fine, says Barbara Walters. The current daytime talk show contingent includes Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd.
“I don’t know of any five women who get along as well as we do,” Walters said in an Associated Press interview. “We see each other off-camera. Whoopi is having a big Christmas party for everybody. Last week, Whoopi, Joy and I had dinner together” (only illness kept Hasselbeck and Shepherd away).
The conservative Hasselbeck and liberal Behar “love sparring,” with never any hard feelings. I, however, cannot stand the shrill, ignorant, irritating shrieking a pox upon the national soul.
“We’re happy,” Walters said, pointing to the high ratings. “and the show’s success reflects that.”
Hmm, so how do you explain Rosie O’Donnell, Babs?

So all of that back biting is an act?
The 4 or 5 of them (how many women are on that show?) are just small actors playing small roles?
To them, all the world is a atage?
