Barkley, ‘Trading Spaces’ bad boy booked for DUIs

Former NBA player Charles Barkley took a few too many shots of a different sort. He was pulled over for running a stop sign at about 1:30 a.m. in Scottsdale, Ariz., reported E! News.

According to the incident report, Lt. Eric Shuhandler smelled alcohol on Barkley’s breath and administered standard field sobriety tests.

The Hall of Famer was then arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving and his 2005 Infiniti was impounded. He was cited and released following a blood test.

“He was cooperative and respectful during the entire incident,” Shuhandler said.

Another star was not so lucky. “Trading Spaces” decorator Doug Wilson spent a night behind bars after he was arrested early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence.

The designer failed to yield to a police vehicle, which had its lights and sirens wailing, chasing him through Decatur County at about 1 a.m.

Bad idea, Doug.

According to a spokeswoman for the Decatur County Jail, Wilson was pulled over and taken into custody and charged him with many, many things: aggravated DUI, driving on a suspended license, failing to yield the right-of-way to an emergency vehicle and unlawful transportation of alcohol. He was booked into Decatur County Jail and released on $1,000 bond a few hours later.
