Idol alum Glocksen to wed
American Idol star Gina Glocksen will ring in the New Year with a new husband. The singer plans to marry longtime boyfriend Joe Ruzicka on New Year’s Eve.
A non-denominational ceremony is slated for Glocksen, who was a top 10 finalist during the sixth season of the Fox hit, and Ruzicka, a teacher. Fellow contestants Jordin Sparks and Haley Scarnato will serve as bridesmaids.
The couple met in 2005 when she successfully auditioned to sing with his band. He proposed Aug. 7, 2007 during an Idol tour performance, in front of a live audience at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill.
