Company wants to see Zellweger’s diary
Isn’t it ironic? Doncha think? Someone is looking to subpoena the diary of “Bridget Jones’ Diary” star Renee Zellweger.
According to TMZ, Zellweger was filming “Cinderella Man” in 2005 and the filming was stopped because Russell Crowe dislocated his shoulder.
There was a seven week delay as a result, so production took longer. Zellweger had other projects she couldn’t do as a result, so the insurance company for the film negotiated a payout to her, reportedly of about $3 million to account for the missed opportunities.
The insurance company is now suing over the debacle and wants to know what Zellweger did during the time off, to prove she actually had suffered financially. And what better way to account for that than her diary.
The judge has not yet ruled on the matter.
