Travolta’s 16-year-old son dies
Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, has died during a family vacation.
Jett suffered a seizure while on vacation at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, the family’s attorney, Michael Ossi, told Reuters.
The teen apparently hit his head on a bathtub Friday morning. Despite efforts to revive him, Jett was pronounced dead at Rand Memorial Hospital, reported police.
Jett had a history of seizures, according to Ossi. According to previous reports, he suffered from Kawasaki disease, which can cause a variety of painful side effects, including seizures, and sometimes lead to heart problems.
Hospital officials would not confirm the name, but told E! News, “We did have a young gentleman come in dead.”
