Rumor round-up on Jolie, Octo-mom, Lohan and Madonna
Some not-quite-full-blown gossip going on:
- Angelina Jolie was spotted visiting an apartment building in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. She was without partner Brad Pitt and left her six kids at home.
The couple have already rented a 22,000-square-foot mansion in Long Island to live in during the Salt shoot, according to reports.
- Speaking of Angelina, her dysfunctional look-alike, octo-Mom Naya Suleman is denying rumors of a reality show.
“I think that’s exploitation of my kids,” said the mother of 14. “I’m not a celebrity!”
She claims to be avoiding all things Hollywood. Of course, the two publicists who were representing her free of charge and set up that horrid web site asking for donations have quit since receiving death threats. So maybe it’s lack of opportunity, not a disinterest that has her saying such things.
- Speaking of celebrities that disturb and annoy me, Lindsay Lohan has a job. She’ll be chopped up in the new “Nightmare on Elm Street” remake. Producer Jason Weinberg revealed Freddy Krueger’s latest victim on Friday – the 13th.
- And, speaking of movie roles, Madonna is looking to make it back to the big screen. The divorcee is hoping to make a movie about socialite Wallis Simpson, the woman who had an affair with Prince Edward and the story of how Edward gave up his position as the King of England after less than a year, so he could marry the twice-divorced Simpson in 1936. According to The Sun, Madonna wrote to the Queen of England for permission to make a movie about the relationship. The Evita actress reportedly sees similarities between herself and the Duchess.
