Andre 3000 arrested for speeding
Andre 3000 wasn’t going 3,000 miles per hour but he was going pretty fast. The one half of Outkast is out on bond after police clocked him driving 109 mph on a highway in suburban Atlanta.
Real name Andre Benjamin, the rapper was driving in a Porsche in a 65 mph zone south of the city early Saturday.
Police said Benjamin told them he was going so fast because he missed an exit and had to turn around.
He posted a $1,200 property bond pending a court date April 29. No word from his publicist on the matter.
