Babies for Diggs, ‘New Moon’ star and AI contestant
We’ve got a good old fashioned baby round-up.
First on the list are Broadway couple Taye Diggs, 38, and Idina Menzel, 37. The husband and wife, who met during the 1996 production of “Rent” and married in January 2003. The baby is expected later this year.
And there’s a new baby for “New Moon” castmember Alex Meraz, who will play a werewolf in Jacob Black’s pack. The actor and his wife, Kim, welcomed their first daughter, Somack.
And last (for tonight we hope), “American Idol” competitor LaKisha Jones, who was known as a single mom when she vied for the crown on the sixth season, is no longer single and will be a mom again. She married financial advisor Larry Davis last October and the two are expected their first child together this summer.
The baby will follow the release of Jones’s first solo CD, “So Glad I’m Me,” out on May 19.
