Lindsay Lohan barred from Ronson’s gig
Have Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson called it quits for real? OK! magazine seems to think so.
“Major drama” was reported in L.A. late Friday night at Bar Marmont, where Sam actually had a job as a DJ (unlike her unemployed maybe-ex-girlfriend). The event was a party for Sam’s twin sister and fashion designer Charlotte Ronson’s I Heart Ronson clothing line for JC Penney.
Apparently Lindsay tried to get in but was physically restrained by five bouncers. Sources told OK! the doormen were apparently under strict instructions from the Ronson family to look out for Lindsay and not to let her in.
“Unless Lindsay rams a truck through the red carpet or skydives in, she won’t be here,” revealed a source.
“Lindsay knew she was unwanted, but came anyway, to no avail,” said another source. As Lindsay was stuck outside, other celebs, including Nicole Richie, Molly Sims, Sting, Jewel and one-time Lohan rival Paris Hilton, were ushered in without trouble.
The party officially wrapped at 11 p.m. but by midnight Sam was still in the booth while her sister and their brother, Mark, and mom, Ann Dexter Jones were inside.
Sam didn’t seem too torn up by the refusal to admit Lindsay.
“She looked like she was in a great mood,” one witness reported.
