Tyra Banks’ stalker convicted

tyra_banksThe man accused of stalking and harassing “America’s Next Top Model” host and supermodel Tyra Banks was convicted on several charges today.

Brady Green, 38, was convicted of stalking, harassment, criminal trespass and attempted aggravated harassment by Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James Burke.

Green was arrested on March 18 at a New York City restaurant near the studio where Banks films her talk show, “The Tyra Banks Show.” He spent months trying to make contact with Banks and claimed the two “had a thing together.”

He was accused of sending Banks flowers, packages and notes, and threatening her assistant when she refused to reveal the star’s address.

Banks testified Wednesday and told the court she had to increase her security and was afraid for both herself, her family and staff thanks to Green.

Sentencing is set for June 18 and he faces up to 90 days in jail. His lawyer plans to appeal the conviction.
