House from Ferris Bueller for sale

ferrisIf you’ve got a sizable bankroll and a love of classic 80s movies, you can own a piece of history. The luxury home featured in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” is up for sale, to the tune of about $2.3 million.

The 5,300 square foot house in the Highland Park area of Chicago, Illinois doubled as the home of Cameron Frye (played by Alan Ruck) and was featured in one famous scene where he and Bueller, played by Matthew Broderick, accidentally destroyed a Ferrari owned by Cameron’s dad by driving it through a glass-walled garage.

The home comes complete with a whole wall memorabilia from the John Hughes movie, including on-set snaps of Broderick and Ruck.
