Lane Garrison booted from rehab

garrisonHe tried to make them take him to rehab. But they said no, no, no. Actor Lane Garrison was denied admission to the Tarazana Treatment Facility last week. He was supposed to stay for five months, but the facility wouldn’t let him.

“He stayed at the facility for a couple of hours,” a source close to Garrison told E! News. “Because of the work he did as a substance-abuse program leader while he was incarcerated, they said he had already served his time in regards to rehabilitation so it would be redundant considering the work that he had already completed.”

Garrison had hoped the time in rehab would have completely satisfied his parole requirements, but that’s a no-go.

“He’s going to be on parole for a minimum of two years, maximum of three,” said California Department of Corrections spokesman Terry Thornton.

Garrison served more than 18 months for vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving.

“He’s taking every day to assimilate back into normal life, day-to-day existence,” said the source. “He appreciates everything so much, the sunshine, food is amazing.”
