Lily Allen gets Chanel, Jessica Biel for Revlon

jessicalilyLily Allen is the new face of Chanel. The singer has her own clothing line, New Look, and managed to impress Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s creative director.

According to reports, he was amazed and asked her to front an advertising campaign for the designer label’s Autumn/Winter 2009 handbag collection.

“Lily cannot believe her luck but she is nervous. Her last fashion endorsement with New Look went well but she felt under a lot of pressure competing with Kate Moss’ Topshop range. Now it’s even worse because this is a world-class designer label and Lily doesn’t want to let anyone down,” said a source.

“She is a massive Chanel fan – one of the first things she did after releasing her first album ‘Alright, Still’ was buy a Chanel dress costing 2,000 GBP ($3,000), so this is a big deal for her.”

Also signing an endorsement deal is Jessica Biel. Justin Timberlake’s girlfriend is set to be the new face of make-up giant Revlon.

Biel will be part of a new international advertising campaigns in 2010 after being named a Global Brand Ambassador.
