HIMYM’s Cobie Smulders welcomes a daughter
Actress Cobie Smulders is now a mom. The “How I Met Your Mother” star gave birth to her first child, a girl.
She and her fiance Taran Killam welcomed Shaelyn Cado Killam on May 16. She’s the first child for both.
Smulders announced her pregnancy in November. She’s not the only one knocked up on the set. Alyson Hannigan was also pregnant this season and welcomed her first daughter in March.
“If you’re trying to start a family, please come visit the set of How I Met Your Mother,” show creator Craig Thomas told TV Guide. “Just come by and hang out for a day or two. We can’t legally guarantee anything, but by the time you leave, you will almost certainly be pregnant.”
