The Return Of Charlie’s Angels!
It was just recently announced by the ABC Network that they have ordered a pilot episode remake of the 70’s TV show (and somewhat successful movies) of “Charlie’s Angels”! That’s right, the never-old premise of three hot women kicking lots of ass with feathered hair while taking missions from a talk-box is coming back for its third round.
I wasn’t too big of a fan of the movie version (with Cameron, Drew, and Lucy) but the 70’s version (Jaclyn, Katie, and Farrah) is forever and it would definitely be worth it if the show was based around THAT version rather than the McG-directed versions. The pilot episode will reportedly be produced and directed by the same team that did the “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, so it MIGHT be good.
In the roles of three new Angels, I would like to nominate the following three ladies:
–Odette Yustman as the sassy, techie Angel with the sordid past
–Amber Heard as the sexy but serious feather-haired blonde leader Angel
–And Megan Fox as the diabolical weapons expert Angel with the thumb-sucking fetish
Make it happen, ABC!
