LA Lakers Sweep Utah Jazz, 111-96

My Los Angeles Lakers have been on fire! Winning SIX games in a row and sweeping the Utah Jazz in four, the Lakers will face off against the Phoenix Suns (or “Los Suns” to all you non-immigrants) next Monday for the Western Conference Finals.

The Jazz displayed less-than-average athleticism in last night’s Game 4 loss and if I were to attribute it to anything, it would be because they just plain sucked. Almost every key Jazz player had subpar numbers (Boozer only had 10 points and Williams had 21) mixed with ice cold shooting. What words can I think of that describe this loss? Let’s see….they got stomped, dominated, assaulted, battered, and destroyed. There was no question that LA overpowered the Jazz in all aspects and it’ll be great to see if the Phoenix Suns can match that Laker prowess. Until then, the Lakers have a full week to think of a way to sweep defeat the Suns. I suggest they pretend that it’s a real Playoff game.
