Janet Jackson hospitalized and released – UPDATED
Janet Jackson has been released from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, according to a hospital rep.
According PEOPLE magazine, Jackson was hospitalized after suddenly getting ill during the sound check before her concert in Montreal Monday night and was rushed to the hospital.
“Yesterday evening she was checked into the Royal Victoria Hospital and left a couple of hours later,” Rebecca Burns, the spokeswoman for the McGill University Health Centre, which operates the hospital, told PEOPLE.
Further details of the singer’s condition were not immediately available, and reps for Jackson did not return requests for additional comment.

Paul Newman Dies at age 83
Damn I get tired of writing these. We are losing way too many legends lately. It is sad to report that Paul Newman has passed away in his home in CT last night. He has lost his battle with cancer. Newman is well known for his role in over 50 major films spanning 7 decades. Films include: “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” “The Verdict,” “The Hustler,” “The Color of Money”
In 1982 Newman launched his own food line and donated all profits to charity. Another legend has left us. You will be missed Paul. R.I.P.

Clay Aiken admits to being gay
Ummm, did any one doubt it or not know that he was?? It took him long enough to be honest with himself and his fans though. According to the latest cover of People Magazine
“Yes, I’m Gay.” The cover also has the quote: “I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things.”
The magazine has an interview with Aiken and confirmed that he was on the cover but refused to release the article to The Associated Press until Wednesday.

Pat O’Brien Outside of The Insider
After an email sent to colleagues last week stating that he was not afraid for his job, Pat O, Brien has left The Insider. No official reason has been given, other then to say that it was a mutual separation. I don’t know, sounds fishy to me.
“Pat O’Brien is a talented broadcaster who has been a part of The Insider family from the very beginning,” the rep said in a statement to People. “Although we have decided to part ways, everyone at CBS Television Distribution and The Insider greatly appreciate and respect all his contributions to our show. We wish Pat much success in his future endeavors.”

Hillary Swank Hospitalized.
According to PEOPLE Hilary Swank is recuperating after undergoing a minor medical procedure at the hospital. According to her manager, Jason Weinberg,
Hillary was experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization to remove a small, benign growth
