Tyra Banks is taking it all off. In this case, her weave. In the season premiere of her self-titled talk show Tuesday, she revealed her real hair to her fans.
“It’s just me coming straight out of the shower with wet hair, ” said Banks, who is on a crusade of late to help women with self-esteem and body image issues.

Chace Crawford Nixes On-Set Romances
Chace Crawford is looking for love, but not on set. The “Gossip Girl” actor wants to keep his personal and professional lives separate.
“‘Gossip Girl’ creator Josh Schwartz told me to avoid dating a co-star at all costs. We get to shoot in New York and have that as our playground and do the insane things that we get to be a part of. There’s a part of me that wants to share that. But I’m having fun living the bachelor life right now. It’s a good time to be single,” said Crawford.
Simon Cowell’s Big Birthday Bash
The “American Idol” judge is planning to shell out more than $400,000 for his 50th birthday party.
“Simon’s been planning this party for months and the guest list is phenomenal, a ‘Who’s Who’ of the celebrity world,” a source said. “It’s going to be the highlight of the showbiz calendar. Simon’s not a massive party person, so when he says he’s going to do something, he does it in style.” The bash will be hosted by his record label Sony BMG and “X Factor” winner Leona Lewis, Il Divo and Westlife will perform for the guests.
Kate Gosselin For Playboy?
Unlike her soon to be ex-husband, Hugh Hefner would rather see all sides of Kate Gosselin.
The other half of “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ got an offer from the Playboy mogul for $400,000. “Hugh sent her a letter, but Kate was totally mortified and threw it away!” a source told Star Magazine. “She didn’t think it was appropriate because of the children.” Despite being “proud of the way she looks,” Kate’s friends claim she was surprised by the offer.
Lady Gaga discusses drug drama
Like nearly every musician out there, Lady Gaga faced a drug addiction, one her father saved her from.
The “Poker Face” singer used to spend hours taking cocaine alone in her New York apartment, until her father Joseph Germanotta ordered her to get clean.
“My father is a really powerful man, a telecom guy. So he looked at me one day and said, ‘You’re fucking up, kid.’ And I looked at him and thought, ‘How does he know that I’m high right now?’” Lady Gaga, real name Stephanie Germanotta, said.
“And he never said a word about the drugs, not one word. But he said, ‘I just wanna tell you that anyone you meet while you’re like this, and any friend that you make in the future while you are with this thing, you will lose.’ And we never talked about it again.”
She began taking coke after she dropped out of New York University in 2005. The singer’s friends also became worried about her erratic behavior and begged her to leave her apartment and spend time with them.
“My cocaine soundtrack was The Cure. I loved all their music, but I listened to this one song on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine,” said Gaga. “I didn’t think there was anything wrong with me until my friends came over and said, ‘Are you doing this alone?’ ‘Um, yes. Me and my mirror.’But I was able to stop, because I was panicking more on the drugs than I was sober. So I’m fine now.”
She still likes to party, though, despite pleas from her record label to dial it back.
“I can drink, and I’m not going to say that I don’t party. But it’s not everyday, and it’s no longer a tool for my creativity,” she said. “The label gets mad at me for talking about it – they say, ‘We don’t want people to think that you’re not a pop star.’ But I am a pop star. I’m a pop star with a story!”
‘True Blood’ co-stars hooking up?
“True Blood” is a breeding ground for hook ups. First Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer hookup, now Evan Rachel Wood is rumored to be dating her co-star Alexander Skarsgard.
According to reports, the actress flew to the set of his latest film this weekend to spend time with him. The couple were also seen at a festival in Louisiana.
A source told Perez Hilton: “Evan Rachel Wood and Alexander Skarsgard might be a thing. My friend is working on the set of ‘Straw Dogs,’ a movie starring Kate Bosworth and Alexander in Shreveport, Louisiana. Apparently, Evan Rachel Wood flew in on Friday to be with him and they have been hooking up since they met on the ‘True Blood’ set. He was overheard talking about hanging out with her and actually being excited about that.”
Skarsgard has been linked with “Straw Dogs” actress Willa Holland, but another source claims he and Woods have been kindling a romance for a while.
“Evan and Alex met, of course, on the set of ‘True Blood’, and were able to keep it low key, very underground while they were in Los Angeles. They never ventured out to pap friendly locations and were only sighted a few times discreetly. So far the relationship is progressing well, they’re having fun together.”
DWTS’ Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy split
If it takes two to tango, Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are no longer doing that dance. The “Dancing with the Stars” couple has split and called off their wedding.
“I am confirming that they did indeed break up,” Karina’s rep told E!.
The two hit Broadway together just a month ago in “Burn the Floor.” They had blamed a busy schedule for delayings their wedding until next summer.
“We don’t plan,” Chmerkovskiy said. “We’re (rehearsing) 14 hours a day.”
“The only thing we’ve decided on is next year in June,” Smirnoff added. “We were supposed to pick the place, but we’ve never actually had the time to go further. We don’t feel like we’re missing out on the wedding-dress fittings. As long as we’re together, tying the knot is a plus. It’s something extra.”
Bradley Cooper The Romantic
Bradley Cooper may be new and hot, but he’s an old romantic at heart.
The actor, who is rumored to be dating his “Case 39″ co-star Renee Zellweger, said he models his views on love and marriage come from his parents. “The truth is, I got it first from my parents, who’ve been married since 1963,” Cooper said. “I grew up in a very old-fashioned Roman Catholic, Italian-Irish family in Philadelphia. Now my parents have evolved into completely different creatures, in terms of their marriage and the roles of the man and the woman. And I think that’s great, but it’s still romantic.”
For all his romantic notions today, Cooper struggled to understand the workings of a successful relationship when he was younger. “You figure out that you don’t need to replicate what you see. In a relationship you treat people the way you want to be treated. And, you figure that out after sussing through all these ideas of how love is supposed to be.”
Zooey Deschanel Is Paranoid
Zooey grew up thinking her sister was an alien who wanted to kill her.
“I grew up believing my sister was from Neptune and had been sent down to Earth to kill me,” said the “500 Days of Summer” actress. “My sister Emily convinced me of it when I was a toddler. I think she’d seen ‘Invasion Of The Body Snatchers’ and her imagination ran away with her.”
Zooey added she also grew up with a strong connection to the paranormal and took years to get over an innate fear of supernatural beings. “It took me years to get over my fear of ghosts. I believe there are things within my control and things outside my realm of control. Eventually I realized it was time to stop feeling anxious about ghosts that I’ve never met, may never meet and may not even exist,” said Zooey.
Boy George On A New Diet
Prison food was no fun for Boy George. His four months in jail caused him to gain weight and now he only eats raw food.
The singer has embarked on a strict diet of uncooked food and a grueling exercise regime. A friend of the 48-year-old star said, “He’s on a raw food regime and doing an hour’s walking a day. He’s also got some DJ shows lined up so hopefully things are back on track.”
George, real name George O’Dowd, was released from prison for good behavior in May, just four months into a 15-month sentence for assault and false imprisonment. He was forced to wear an electronic ankle tag until last week, allowing police to monitor his whereabouts.
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s worrying mind
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is starting the worry early. The actress is already concerned about what type of women her toddler son, Bronx Mowgli, with Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, may bring home.
“Pete is definitely overprotective, I know that. And I’m definitely going to be laying the boundaries down,” she said on “The Rachael Ray Show.”
“But it’s different for a girl than with a guy, so I think we’ll have to grow together and be able to lay the boundaries. But with Bronx, there will be a curfew and all that. I don’t want him to grow up in the middle of Hollywood.”
Simpson is set to star in the CW’s revamp of “Melrose Place” and has been trying to stay in shape, even throughout her pregnancy.
“I could do the splits when I was nine months pregnant. I could put my leg over my head still. I used to be a ballerina,” said the former back up dancer.
Simpson will play Violet Foster, a saucy temptress, and denies her husband is bothered by the scenes.
“He’s not a jealous person, and it’s work. It is what it is. And believe me, there’s some jaw droppers for Violet! But I’d rather be kissing my husband.”
Jon and Kate plus Hate?
I guess an amicable divorce is off the table. Jon Gosselin told “Good Morning America” that he despises his estranged wife Kate, and believes she took his wedding ring.
The reality TV star said he set down his ring one day and it vanished. No one else could have taken it, according to Jon.
He also accused his soon-to-be ex of verbally abusing him and beating him down during their marriage, which anyone who watched “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ knows.
This was his first TV interview since divorce papers were filed in June. Kate, however, has had plenty to say during her interview appearances in recent weeks.
A longer version of Jon’s interview airs tonight on ABC’s “Primetime: Family Secrets” and I’m sure it’s full of even more dirt.

Teri To Train For Triathlon
Teri Hatcher wants to run. Run far and run fast before she’s dead. She and a friend were recently discussing what would be on her “bucket list” and running a triathlon made the list.
“I want to learn to play a couple of songs on the guitar. I want to learn a few of those fancy dances from one of those Dancing with the Stars teachers. And I want to run a triathlon,” the actress said. Fortunately, Disney, the parent company of her show, “Desperate Housewives,” asked her to lead a team in this year’s Nautica Malibu Triathlon. Hatcher is also raising money to benefit the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
She’s been training hard for the last month. Hatcher rides her bike to work three to four times a week, and has been known to swim with the whales, but running is the hardest part of the triathlon. But Hatcher says participating was not about getting a great time or winning. “I’m just out to do it and I did it,” she said. “I did surprise myself that I’m in better shape than I thought I was.”
A Baby Girl For Marley Shelton
Actress Marley Shelton is now a proud mother.
According to People Magazine, Shelton delivered daughter West Flynn on Sunday in Los Angeles. The baby weighed 9 lbs. and was 21 inches in length. She is the first child for Shelton and her husband Beau Flynn. “She’s an absolutely miraculous, gorgeous bundle of pure love,” Flynn said in a statement.
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian looking for a love nest
LeAnn Rimes and her new man are looking for a new place. The singer/actress (formally) split from her husband Dean Sheremet last week and now she and fellow adulterer Eddie Cibrian are househunting in Los Angeles.
RadarOnline reports that rimes was in “great spirits, smiling and very upbeat” as she visited a secluded two-storey property in Beverly Hills.
The 27-year-old star then viewed an impressive ranch in a gated community in suburban Calabasas.
Cibrian is divorcing his wife, Brandi Glanville, after a tabloid affair with Rimes while filming “Northern Lights” and rumor is the two will shack up at her new place.
Crowe Challenges Cycling Critic
Be careful what you write, it might come back to bite you in the ass.
Russell Crowe challenged an Australian newspaper columnist to a cycling duel after she made fun of a photo of the actor smoking and eating on a bike ride and it was all caught on video.
The piece in Sydney’s Daily Telegraph was headlined, “Smokes and fatty foods the fitness regime for Rusty”. Crowe called up columnist Annette Sharp to a 12-mile race through the city and it was all caught on video as he pounded her into the ground.
At one point during the race, Sharp fell off her bike. She wrote: “I was sliding exuberantly down the track when, with a thump, I came off the seat and landed painfully on the crossbar. This was surely it – his victory moment. His victory moment, with me sprawled in the dirt.”
“Yet he was gracious, concerned – the perfect gentleman as he rolled up my trousers to check my knee.” She added, “When you make a living throwing stones you expect that one day someone is going to lob one back. This was that day.”

Seth MacFarlane has provided Mila Kunis with the bus to hell.
The actress fears her dark sense of humor, more than enabled by her role as Meg Griffin on “The Family Guy,” will send her straight down when she dies. “I’m going to hell so fast. Like on an escalator. It’s going to be a straight shot. There is not even going to be a stop in limbo,” she said.
Kelly Osbourne’s Premarital Promise
Kelly Osbourne is planning a little marriage makeover. Like many a bride, she’s in the process of growing her hair out.
The 24-year-old reality star, who is engaged to model Luke Worrall, recently dyed her hair blonde and has revealed her makeover is part of a promise she made her father Ozzy Osbourne.
“There’s a story behind the hair. My dad made me promise that when I got married, I’d have long blonde hair like I did when I was young. I spent three years growing my hair and dyed it blonde but it went a funny color and all fell out. It’s growing now, but I won’t be getting married until it’s much longer. After all, I promised my dad,” she said.
Osbourne said she was thrilled at Worrall’s proposal, but knew it was coming. “Because he’s terrible at keeping secrets, I knew he’d bought me a ring so I had a little time to prepare myself – after all, it’s a really serious decision. I knew he was my soul mate from our first week together – I’ve never laughed that much in my life.”
Renee Zellweger To Stay Forever Young. Career-Wise.
Renee Zellweger is trying to grow old gracefully and insists turning 40 hasn’t affected her career.
She turned the big 4-0 in April and believes her quirky appearance will always land her roles, regardless of her age. When asked if she had noticed more exciting parts drying up, she said, “It’s so hard to comment because I don’t see it. I don’t know. I’m so spoiled with respect to the experiences I’ve had and the opportunities I’ve had that I don’t see it.”
According to Zellweger, the only bad thing about turning 40 is that people are expecting her to feel differently about life. “I’m so sad that everyone keeps pointing to this birthday, ‘You had this birthday, how do you feel now?’ I’m thinking, ‘I feel nothing different.’”
