Amy Winehouse hooks up with her ex
Divorce is bringing Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil back together.
The singer was spotted with her recently ex-husband, whom she was officially divorced from last week, for the first time in 14 months for a secret date on Friday.
“Amy had been secretly planning this meeting – but told everyone she didn’t want to see Blake,” said a source. “The date went well. They had dinner and drinks and then – without anyone else knowing – she invited him back to her place early Saturday morning.”
Winehouse’s family had banned her from seeing her ex and so she snuck Fielder-Civil into her house through a window to avoid her security team.
“Amy has two full-time security men at her house under strict instruction not to let Blake in. But Amy wasn’t having any of it, so she got him in through a back window so they could have some private time away from prying eyes,” explained the source. “Blake spent part of the night in the house, we think in Amy’s bedroom. She’s being very secretive about it but we know he was there.
“He’s in love with her, he’s convinced they’re still meant to be together. Despite everything she’s said about him over the last couple of weeks, deep down she feels the same way.”
Last month it was reported Winehouse was posing as her cat to send secret messages to her ex on Facebook. She had created a profile for Shirley the cat and used it to talk to him.
Fielder-Civil originally filed for divorce while in prison in January after she was pictured with other men. Winehouse admitted adultery as the reason for their divorce in its initial hearing.
Jack Tweed back in jail
The widower of British reality TV star Jade Goody has appeared in court on a rape charge.
Police in London say they charged Jack Tweed, 22, after they received a complaint from a woman. At a court hearing Saturday he was ordered detained until a further appearance Sept. 21.
Tweed and Goody married in February, a month before her death at 27 from cervical cancer.
This isn’t Tweed’s first brush with the law. Just a few weeks after Goody’s death, he was jailed for 12 weeks for attacking a cab driver. He has said he has struggled to cope with Goody’s death.
Two new faces join SNL
“Saturday Night Live” will begin its fall season with two new cast members.
A source confirmed to the Associated Press that Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad have joined the show for the 2009-2010 season. The person requested anonymity because NBC has not made an official announcement.
Both comedians have connections to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
Slate was part of the comedy show “Gabe and Jenny” with Gabe Liedman. Pedrad, born in Tehran, Iran, previously had a one-woman show, “Me, Myself and Iran.”
“SNL” premieres Sept. 26.
Chris Brown Gets Dirty
Chris Brown will be doing some dirty work.
Police in Virginia report his sentence will involve removing graffiti, picking up trash and washing cars as part of his sentence for the assault back in February. In August, Chris was sentenced to five years’ probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling.
He was sentenced in California, but is performing his labor in Richmond near his home. Norwood said Brown will be supervised during his service, but Brown would have to pay for any additional security if the public becomes aware of his presence.
Ana Ortiz Is Pregnant. Again.
Hmm, someone needs to hand “Ugly Betty” star Ana Ortiz some birth control or some condoms!
Just two months after delivering her first child, Ana is now expecting ANOTHER baby! She and husband Noah Lebenzon welcomed daughter Paloma on June 27 in New York and was looking forward to giving her a sibling. “The sooner the better. We’re definitely looking forward to having a playmate for Paloma,” Ortiz said.
She also said she used her young co-star, Mark Indelicato, who plays her onscreen son in the show, for parenting advice. “Mark and I are inseparable. His mom has become my fairy godmother because she’s been helping me so much with the baby too”.
Alan Cumming Loves Weddings
Nobody can party like the gays.
And gay weddings brought the party for actor Alan Cumming. He was so happy to be allowed to marry his longterm partner because it meant he could throw a big party for his family and friends. After two years of dating, Cumming wed Grant Shaffer in a lavish star-studded civil partnership ceremony in 2007, three years after same-sex marriage was introduced in the U.K.
“It meant a lot here (in the U.K.) and in a symbolic way, being able to claim rights that everyone should have and here you do and in America you don’t,” said Cumming. “Gay people didn’t have that thing until recently where you can have all your family and friends to celebrate your relationship and that was a really lovely thing to do. I hadn’t realized that was something gay people aren’t allowed to do.”
Lisa Loeb Pregnant!
Singer Lisa Loeb and her husband Roey Hershkovitz are pregnant.
“They’re excited to welcome their first child this winter,” said Loeb’s manager Janet Billig Rich. Hershkovitz, a music production supervisor for The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, met Loeb in 2006 at a business meeting and got engaged last November.
Kate Hudson Shacking With A-Rod?
Kate Hudson is heading for home base with New York Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez.
According to reports, she’s moved into the his New York apartment. The couple have been dating since last November and went public when they were spotted kissing in July. Hudson has been seen at several Yankees games.
A source told In Touch magazine, “Kate’s always at his New York apartment, even on the days when he’s on the road. She’s made herself quite comfortable in his life. She’s met his oldest daughter and her son likes Alex. Kate has become very serious about him.”
Taye Diggs Is A New Daddy!
Actor Taye Diggs and actress Idina Menzel have welcomed a baby boy.
Both welcomed their son Walker Nathaniel Diggs on Wednesday. A spokesperson for the pair said, “Mother, father and son are all doing well.”
Lori Petty To Receive Probation
Lori Petty will skip out on jail time.
The “Tank Girl” actress will plead no contest Friday to a misdemeanor DUI charge and serve five years’ probation, according to a source close to the case. Petty was arrested last May after hitting a 14-year-old skateboarder in Venice Beach. She will also pay fines, receive outpatient treatment and attend AA meetings. A second DUI charge was dismissed as part of her plea deal.
Lindsay Lohan To Pose for Playboy?
In case you haven’t had enough of Lindsay Lohan yet, you may have a chance to see her naked in the pages of Playboy!
The “Freaky Friday” actress is reportedly considering an offer of $900,000 to drop trow for the magazine, after initially rejecting a previous offers.
A source told Australia’s The Day newspaper: “Playboy has been asking her for years, but it’s only now she’s excited about doing it.” In addition to the naked shoot, Lohan, who can’t get a job in front of the camera, is hoping to try her hand at being behind it. “I’ve been creating a bunch of shows that I’ve written treatments for and that I’m going to be producing – and that’s more interesting to me,” she said.
Fame Drove Robert Pattinson Mad
Robert Pattinson’s fan appeal nearly drove the “Twilight” star over the edge earlier this year.
“I was getting really paranoid. But then I realized that if tomorrow I say, ‘OK, I’ve had enough we’re stopping everything,’ it won’t change anything,” he said. “Might as well try to accept it and stay Zen as I have no control over it. It’s not always easy. But whining won’t change anything.”
His first brush with true fame was with a mob of screaming fans at the Cannes Film Festival in February.He told France’s Premiere magazine: “I was in a restaurant during a break, and when I came out two hours later, 500 people were waiting for me at the exit. “It was total chaos. Daniel Radcliffe Spurns Fame
Daniel Radcliffe is a very old 20-year-old. The Harry Potter star claims he is too old to party.
“I used to play a lot of pranks in the past but I want to be a more mature, serious actor now,” he said. “I don’t get involved with drinking or partying with the cast anymore.” He has no mercy for famewhore stars out there. He blasted those who are only interested in fame, insisting he hates being “a celebrity”.
“I hate celebrity culture but I’m unavoidably part of it. These people are celebrities as a by-product of what they do,” said Radcliffe. “People read every little thing about Peter Andre and Jordan and I couldn’t care less. They don’t want to work, have no interests, no passions, nothing and yet they seem to be held up on pedestals. I don’t think they should be trying to push themselves onto us. It does annoy me of course, but I’m part of it.”
Jada Pinkett-Smith Calls For Respect
Jada Pinkett Smith will have rich, famous and polite kids, if she has anything to say about it.
The actress has two children, Jaden, 11, and Willow, 8, with husband Will Smith, and is stepmother to Will’s 16-year-old son Trey, his child with ex-wife Sheree Zampino. She said she tries not to be too strict with her parenting, but admits there are certain things she will not tolerate.
“My kids are extremely respectful. You might not have to go to bed at a certain time, but do not talk crooked to anybody! Always treat people the way you want to be treated,” she told Good Housekeeping. When she does have those days off, the family’s favorite pastime is baking, said Pinkett-Smith. “I love to bake – that’s the only thing I do. I don’t cook at all. I can’t. My mother didn’t cook and my grandmother couldn’t cook a lick!”
Is Halle Berry Pregnant?
According to reports, the 43-year-old actress is three months pregnant with her second child with her model partner Gabriel Aubry – with who she already has a 17-month-old daughter, Nahla.
“Halle is overjoyed. She’s just ecstatic to be pregnant again. She wasn’t sure if she’d have another baby, so she’s very happy!” said a source. The source added to Life and Style Weekly magazine: “The first time, she eventually conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF). This time, the baby was conceived through artificial insemination.”
Gwen Stefani’s parental fears
Gwen Stefani is a mom, but she’s still scared of her parents.
The singer, mother to Kingston, 3, and Zuma, 1, claims the only reason she has never gone too crazy is because she was worried about what her parents would say.
“I was thinking today when I was driving, ‘How am I going to make sure that Kingston never does anything bad and doesn’t get arrested?’ I was thinking, ‘How did I stay out of trouble?’ And I know it’s just because my parents are so strict. I mean, I’m still scared of them!”
According to Stefani, being a mother is the most important part of her life, but is aware her children’s upbringing is totally different from her own.
“I grew up in a normal family. The other evening, at the end of the night, I was there with Kingston putting him to bed, reading all his books, getting his diaper on and putting him in his crib. Then I got Zuma, nursed him, put him to sleep. Then I went to a Hollywood party! It is extremely different from how my parents raised me,” she said.
“I’ve always worked really hard, and the hardest thing I’ve ever done is have kids! Everything from getting up in the morning, to trying to be consistent, to trying to have the right feelings. But, of course, the rewards are great.”
Miley Cyrus breaks up co-star’s relationship
Miley Cyrus’s new romance with actor Liam Hemsworth has left his ex-girlfriend in tears.
Cyrus and Hemsworth met on the set of hteir new movie, “The Last Song” and got close. Real close. His now-ex blames the Hannah Montana star.
Australian student Laura Griffin, 19, posted on her Facebook page: “Liam and I have been inseparable since school. But it’s Miley Cyrus. How can I compete?”
Griffin blamed Cyrus for the breakdown of her relationship with Hemsworth, a former “Neighbours” star. She says they’d still be together if it wasn’t for Miley.
She told Australia’s Woman’s Day magazine: “He was my boyfriend and my best friend. There is no other reason why we would have broken up.”
Cyrus and Hemsworth’s relationship was revealed when they were spotted kissing on the set of their film.
Actor Alex Emanuel said: “Miley jumped into his arms and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him and leaned back and he was dipping her. It was like a scene out of an old movie where the guy’s getting on a train and they’re saying their goodbyes.”

Demi Moore denies going under the knife
Demi Moore came by her looks naturally. Or so she says. Mrs. Ashton Kutcher is fighting back against allegations that she’s had hundreds of thousands of dollars in plastic surgery.
She Twittered Monday that she has stretch marks and extra skin, just like any mom with three kids.
Someone who claimed that Moore could not go from stretch marks and saggy skin, once on display in an old paparazzi shot of her at the beach, to her current body.
“I still have excess skin & stretch marks!” she tweeted.
When someone responded to that remark with disbelief, saying she did not, Moore added, “Ahh hate to break it to you but I do. Comes with having a few kids 4 some of us!”
The twitter exchanges come days after an interview in which Moore, 46, denied having anything done:
“It’s completely false, I’ve never had it done. But I would never judge those who have. If it’s the best thing for them, then I don’t see a problem. On the other hand, I don’t like the idea of having an operation to hold up the ageing process – it’s a way to combat your neurosis. The scalpel won’t make you happy…” she said.
“That said, the day when I start crying when I look at myself in the mirror might be the day when I’m less adamant about not having it done. For the moment I prefer to be a beautiful woman of my age than try desperately to look 30.”
LeAnn Rimes announces divorce
LeAnn Rimes is finally admitting defeat. The singer/actress has announced she is getting a divorce.
She was snapped in mid-affair with “Northern Lights” co-star Eddie Cibrian and now her seven-year marriage to Dean Sheremet is over.
She said on her official website: “After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Dean and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support – it is deeply appreciated.”
LeAnn’s friend Jeff Berger, founder of Dope Den Productions, said the couple are trying to stay friends despite the split.
“They are doing their best to handle it as mature adults. Dean’s her best friend and that’s the crux of the issue – when you love and care about somebody who’s your best friend – how not to cause them pain. LeAnn and Dean are both great people and, unfortunately, going through a tough situation. But they’re doing what needs to be done in as amicable a way as possible,” he said.
Rimes married Sheremet, a former backup dancer, in 2002, when she was 19.
Cibrian and his wife, Brandi Glanville, have also separated and Glanville filed for divorce last month because of his alleged infidelity.
She said: “Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.”
The co-stars denied a romance, but were spotted enjoying several intimate dates. Now, they’ve gone public with a trip to Cabo San Lucas, in Mexico, last weekend, to celebrate Rime’s 27th birthday. Cibrian gave her a diamond bracelet and a six-inch triple berry birthday cake from her favorite bakery.
