Taye Diggs Is A New Daddy!
Actor Taye Diggs and actress Idina Menzel have welcomed a baby boy.
Both welcomed their son Walker Nathaniel Diggs on Wednesday. A spokesperson for the pair said, “Mother, father and son are all doing well.”
Is Halle Berry Pregnant?
According to reports, the 43-year-old actress is three months pregnant with her second child with her model partner Gabriel Aubry – with who she already has a 17-month-old daughter, Nahla.
“Halle is overjoyed. She’s just ecstatic to be pregnant again. She wasn’t sure if she’d have another baby, so she’s very happy!” said a source. The source added to Life and Style Weekly magazine: “The first time, she eventually conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF). This time, the baby was conceived through artificial insemination.”
Gwen Stefani’s parental fears
Gwen Stefani is a mom, but she’s still scared of her parents.
The singer, mother to Kingston, 3, and Zuma, 1, claims the only reason she has never gone too crazy is because she was worried about what her parents would say.
“I was thinking today when I was driving, ‘How am I going to make sure that Kingston never does anything bad and doesn’t get arrested?’ I was thinking, ‘How did I stay out of trouble?’ And I know it’s just because my parents are so strict. I mean, I’m still scared of them!”
According to Stefani, being a mother is the most important part of her life, but is aware her children’s upbringing is totally different from her own.
“I grew up in a normal family. The other evening, at the end of the night, I was there with Kingston putting him to bed, reading all his books, getting his diaper on and putting him in his crib. Then I got Zuma, nursed him, put him to sleep. Then I went to a Hollywood party! It is extremely different from how my parents raised me,” she said.
“I’ve always worked really hard, and the hardest thing I’ve ever done is have kids! Everything from getting up in the morning, to trying to be consistent, to trying to have the right feelings. But, of course, the rewards are great.”
Annika Sorenstam welcomes first daughter
There’s another little golfer on the horizon. Women’s PGA champ Annika Sorenstam has given birth to a girl.
She announced the arrival of daughter of Ava Madelyn McGee on her blog. It is her first child with husband Mike McGee. She was born Tuesday at 3:30 a.m.
The baby weighed 6 lbs., 10 oz. and measured 19 inches in length.
“We are all doing well and we truly appreciate the support we have received. We are VERY excited about our new addition and will keep everyone posted in the coming weeks,” said Sorenstam.
She and McGee were married in January and announced they were expecting in March.
Baby girl for David Boreanaz
David Boreanaz has a new daughter. The “Bones” star and his wife Jaime Bergman welcomed their second child, daughter Bardot Vita Boreanaz, on Monday.
The baby weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz., and joins big brother Jaden Rayne, 7, at home.
Bergman has been on bedrest for the end of her pregnancy and that means Boreanaz has had to keep nearby.
“I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that. If I do, I’ll freak out – I have to be there when the baby comes,” he told PEOPLE. The couple have been trying for a second child for a while.
“We’ve been trying to have another baby for a couple of years now so we are beyond excited. We’re over the moon,” said Bergman.
Macaulay Culkin a Jacko sperm donor?
The death of Michael Jackson has opened many a can of worms when it comes to the parentage of his three kids. Maybe he was right to put masks on them whie he was alive because now the press is foaming at the mouth for dirt.
The Sun now claims that actor Macaulay Culkin is the mystery dad of Jackson’s youngest son Blanket. The paper claims Culkin donated sperm to father Prince Michael II, age 7, aka “Blanket.”
Jackson and Culkin became friends after the younger man shot to fame in “Home Alone” in 1990.
“It is well known Jackson and Macaulay shared a unique bond,” said a source. “Now rumors are spreading like wildfire that Macaulay, who Jackson nicknamed Mack, is actually Blanket’s biological dad.”
Reports have circulated since Jackson’s death in June that he isn’t the biological father of any of his kids, including Blanket, his brother Michael, 12, or their 11-year-old sister Paris.
Now sources close to Jackson say the Thriller star asked Culkin for the donation to help him complete his “perfect” family.
“This isn’t just chitter-chatter, even Culkin suspects he’s Blanket’s father. So many names have been mentioned as prospective dads, and this is probably the wackiest yet. But Jackson and Culkin were best friends. He was one of the few people Jackson really trusted and Mack never let him down,” added the source. “Really, Jackson idolized him. That’s why he asked Mack to donate sperm. Deep down, I think he always wished Mack was his son. Creating Blanket was the next best thing.”
Culkin is godfather to Jacko’s other two children and has refused to comment on the matter.
Yesterday Jackson’s brother Marlon appeared to confirm the star did not conceive his children naturally.
He said: “Those were Michael’s kids – regardless of where they came from.”
Jackson will be buried on Thursday in a gold-plated coffin in the Hollywood Hills.
Katherine Heigl hosts Ellen Pompeo’s baby shower
Katherine Heigl may stick her foot in her mouth on a regular basis, but Saturday, she was all smiles as she hosted a baby shower for preggers co-star Ellen Pompeo.
The 25 guests, including Kate Walsh, Sandra Oh and Rebecca Gayheart, dined in the backyard of Heigl’s home in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles.
Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery are expecting a baby daughter in October.
“Ellen looked gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do. She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends,” a source told PEOPLE.
Umbrellas shielded guests from the heat and pink flower arrangements and candles accented the tables. Presents were in pink and yellow and the gifts included a Sleep Sheep toy mobile, Sleepy Safari stacking toys, organic hooded towels and a Kiddopotamus organic swaddle wrap. Pompeo registered at the Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks.
Samantha Burke forgotten by Jude Law
Poor Samantha Burke. Not only is she not an expensive lay, she’s also forgettable for the weeks thereafter. According to sources, Jude Law doesn’t even remember the mother-to-be of his fourth child.
A friend of Burke, who is pregnant with the star’s baby following a brief romance last year, claims the model hasn’t seen or been in personal contact with the Law since he left New York.
“She met him at a club in New York. He was sick, so she kept going to his hotel over the course of a week to take care of him,” the friend told E! Online.
“But Jude didn’t even remember her. She hasn’t seen him since New York. They’ve only been in contact through their lawyers.”
The friend also said she believes Burke “crazy” to go through with the pregnancy.
Burke denied she’s a golddigger on her blog earlier this month.
“I can’t tell you how far from a gold digger I am. I’ve never dated a rich man in my life. I’ve always wondered how girl friends of mine could even ask their boyfriends to buy them clothes.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I was scared. I didn’t jump for joy because I ‘hit the jackpot’- I cried.”
Burke is reportedly requested a little less than $10,000 per month for their daughter, Sophia, who is due in October.
Celine Dion knocked up?
Celine Dion is pregnant with her second child, according to reports.
The 41-year-old singer and her elderly husband Rene Angelil, 67, conceived the baby with the help of a team of fertility specialists in New York. The couple has been married since 1994 and conceived a son, Rene-Charles, 8, using a similar process.
The Canadian paper, Journal de Montreal, broke the news and Dion hasn’t officially confirmed it yet.
Dion said she planned to try for another children when her “Taking Chances” world tour ended earlier this year.
“We are going to give it a try after my tour. Hopefully we can get pregnant again,” she told Oprah Winfrey. “I have a small window of hope. But we have been so blessed already. We tried six years for Rene-Charles. We have our miracle baby.”
Angelil has three other children from two previous marriages.
Tom Cavanagh a dad again
Actor Tom Cavanagh has become a dad for the third time.
He and wife Maureen Grise welcomed their second son, James Joseph Cavanagh, on Aug. 5.
James joins older sister Alice Ann, 3, and Thomas Patrick, 2.
Cavanagh and Grise, a photo editor at Sports Illustrated magazine, married in 2004.
Sarah Chalke pregnant
“How I Met Your Mother” star Sarah Chalke is pregnant.
She and her fiance, entertainment lawyer Jamie Afifi, are expecting their first child this winter.
Chalke and Afifi got engaged in 2006 while vacationing in Hawaii.
It’s a boy for Wilkinson and Baskett
Kendra Wilkinson is all about the boys, so it’s a good things she’s having one
The former Playboy Playmate is expecting her first baby with husband Hank Baskett and announced there will be a little more testosterone in the house via her blog.
“I just left the doctor’s office and I couldn’t wait another minute to tell you guys. Hank and I are having a baby boy!!!!!!!!!!!! When the doctor told me I was just like OH MY GOD, I’m going to have a son!!!!! Today is certainly always going to be one of the most memorable days of my life!”
Wilkinson married Baskett at her ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner’s Playboy mansion in June and wants to be an all-American mom (who used to pose for Playboy. And had a three-way with an old guy).
“Whether this little guy is a jock or not, he’s definitely going to be a mama’s boy. And there’s no doubt he’s going to be a handsome one… just look at his dad!”
The baby is due on Christmas Day.
Kate Hudson wants to make a baby with A-Rod?
Kate Hudson is baby crazy. Sources say the actress wants to have a baby with Yankee Alex Rodriguez, who she’s been dating since May.
A source said: “Kate just turned 30 and she’s ready to have her second child. She wants Ryder to have a sibling, so she brought up the idea to Alex and told him that they would make a beautiful baby together, and that she would assume all financial responsibility.”
Hudson has a five-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, lead singer of the Black Crowes. Rodriguez has two daughters, Natasha, 4, and Ella, 16-months, with his ex-wife Cynthia.
The same source claims Rodriguez wants to wait before having any more children.
This is not the first time the couple have had troubles.
Last month, Hudson ticked off her boyfriend when she let her friend drive Alex’s Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in Manhattan, New York, but the woman accidentally dented the back of the car.
Baby boy for Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson has given birth to a boy.
The singer-and-actress delivered her first child Monday and both mother and baby are said to be doing well.
Hudson and her fiance David Otunga have named their baby David Daniel Otunga Jr. He weighed 7lb 14oz.
“Jennifer and David are thrilled. They did not know the sex of the baby in advance – they bought blue and pink clothes beforehand. It’s a very joyous occasion for them,” said a source.
The baby’s birth comes just nine months after the tragic murders of Jennifer’s mother, brother and nephew.
Hudson’s “Dreamgirls” co-star Anika Noni Rose hopes the baby helps Hudson process her grief.
“I just hope that a baby will bring her joy each day and the ability to come back to her wonderful self. It’s been a harrowing year for her and I hope that she finds comfort, joy and support and that she can move forward with her new baby,” said Rose.
“Jennifer will be a great, amazing and loving mom. Having seen her with babies myself, that baby of hers is going to have a good time and be much loved. She loves babies and now that she going to be a mother herself this experience is going to be fun and rewarding for her. She will have no problems taking on the responsibilities.”
Another Jackson baby mama comes out of the woodwork
There’s a new heir to the Michael Jackson baby mama throne, Claire Cruise, a Florida woman who admits her story sounds a little shady (which is actually a good sign, except for the rest of the claims).
She says she’s the biological mother of all three Jackson kids, a lofty claim, and she’s filed for the termination of Katherine Jackson’s guardianship. Cruise is also making a unusual claim that she and Micheal Jackson had a son together and gave the baby to Tom Cruise. She claims that Connor Cruise is actually her child, but Michael Jackson did not want Connor because of his skin color.
Here’s her post on Myspace: She said “I am legally married to Michael Joseph Jackson, I am the sole biological mother of all three Jackson children. 6-25-2009 I am officially engaged to my childhood sweetheart Joseph Caputo…. We shall wed in a non-legally binding ceremony. Chris is the biological father of Blanket Prince Michael Jackson, II.
When my legal husband, Michael Joseph Jackson, was informed that Chris and I had successfully become officially engaged on June 25th, 2009, Michael took his own life.”
Cruise also details her marriage to Tom Cruise (she changed her name legally to Cruise after Tom married Katie Holmes in 2006). She claims she was only 9 when she married 13 year old Tom Cruise. We will save you the details, but you can read the complete statement in caps on her Myspace page here.
She looks just like Paris Jackson (though she admits to having gone through “a lot” without a specific mental diagnosis) but other than that, I’m not sure what else supports her assertion:
Baby boy for Elisabeth Hasselbeck
“The View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck has popped out another kid. The conservative darling of the morning show gave birth to a boy, Isaiah. He weighs seven pounds, seven ounces.
Hasselbeck is married to NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck. They also have a daughter, Grace Elisabeth, born in 2005 on Tim’s 27th birthday and a son, Taylor Thomas, born in 2007.
Daniel Baldwin welcomes baby girl
Those Baldwins just keep on breeding. Daniel Baldwin and his wife, Joanne, welcomed a baby girl Friday morning.
Finley Rae Martineau Baldwin was born at 9:35 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. and was 20 inches long.
This is the second daughter for the couple. They have an older daughter, Avis Ann, 18 months.
“She is excited to meet her new little sister,” his rep said.
Joanne is a British former fashion model who met Baldwin during his stint at a Malibu rehab facility where she worked as a chef. The couple have been married for two years.
Baldwin also has three children from three previous relationships: Atticus, 13, Alexandra, 18, and Kahlea, 25.
Heidi Klum doesn’t diet
As if she wasn’t already hateable enough (she’s rich, pretty, thin and famous), Heidi Klum just eats healthy and exercises in order to stay skinny (I’m going to have to go with a good metabolism is somewhere in there).
Klum is currently pregnant and insists she gets back in shape after giving birth by simply eating healthily and exercising.
Asked about the time she modeled Victoria’s Secret lingerie less than two months after having her son Henry, she replied: “I’ve never really had any special girdle machines or anything like that. For me, it’s really healthy foods, exercising, playing with the children and going to the park – normal things.
“I’ve never done diets. But I also do not sit on the couch with my feet up and eat one potato chip bag after the next and one burger after the other. I think you have to kind of do a little bit of everything.”
Despite her relatively easy road back to skinny, Klum said she’s hoping to drop her pregnancy pounds fast after delivering her new baby.
“I never really put a lot of pressure on myself, but for me personally, I feel like it is always better to get into shape immediately. I feel like if I drag it out too long, I’m not going to do it,” she said. “So for me it works to kind of get back into shape, afterwards, I feel great. I can put my normal clothes back on and it makes me happy, and it’s worked so far.”
Penelope Cruz pregnant?
Penelope Cruz is reportedly pregnant.
The actress is said to be expecting her first child with long-term boyfriend Javier Bardem.
“Penelope is about four months pregnant. She’s really healthy now and will be a great mother,” said a source.
Cruz, 35, is currently on a promotional tour for her new movie “Broken Embraces,” and when she attended the UK premiere in London, she wore a red Bottega Veneta trouser suit, which was scrounged up for her at the last minute.
The official story is that her luggage went missing on the flight from Madrid, but speculation, but now folks think the high-waisted outfit was set to disguise her baby bump.
Cruz recently said she wants to fully commit to motherhood when she starts a family.
She told Psychologies magazine: “When I have babies, I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life. I don’t know if I believe in marriage. But I believe in family, love and children.”
Jude Law met baby mama model at a night club
Jude Law met his baby mama like every good cliche, outside a nightclub.
The “Sherlock Holmes” actor took 24-year-old model Samantha Burke to dinner after they met on the street outside New York’s 1OAK nightclub in January.
The pair then headed to Law’s hotel room.
An insider told the New York Daily News: “They actually met after the club had closed, on the street. He took her to a diner around the corner and then to the Greenwich Hotel, where he was staying. She stayed over that night.
“In the morning, Jude had to make his call time so he left her in his hotel room. When she took off, she left him her phone number, and after a few days, he called back and said he’d like to take her out to dinner. They never did make that dinner – they just stayed in his hotel room.”
Her pregnancy is a shocker for the actor, who has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost.
It has been claimed Law and Burke only communicate through their lawyers, though Burke said he’s stepped up to his responsibilities.
A source said: “They don’t speak. It was a brief affair anyway – they only slept together a handful of times. It was a fling, purely sexual.”
Burke’s family aren’t happy with the actor for asking for a paternity (though, uh, she had sex with some guy and didn’t use protection and I’m pretty sure a model gets plenty of booty calls).
“To say this family is mad at that man is an understatement,” said her grandmother Delores Burke. “He has behaved as less than a gentleman. My son Denis is hopping mad. He feels that Jude Law took advantage of his little girl.”
