No go for Posh fashion show!
Poor Victoria Beckham! There was a rumor out that Victoria was going to make a fashion week premiere at Bryant Park for Fashion Week in New York. But alas it will remain a rumor.
Victoria’s faild dVb has helped Loehmans’s and Marshall’s have enough of her clothing for years to come. L.A. boutique Kitson has decided not to carry her men’s line and reportedly “600 pairs of jeans left over from April 2007.”
It has been said that Victoria didn’t put in the necessary P.R. for her line. She didn’t appear at retailers for in-store appearances as promised.
Personally, if I were Victoria Beckham I wouldn’t give a rats azz, she has David Beckham!
Kate Moss plans are to role in the doe.
Kate Moss could earn up to 25 million if plans to take her Topshop range to China go ahead. The collections she’s designed for the high street chain, which are inspired by her own wardrobe, are already a hit in London and New York – and will now be the focus of the store’s launch on the vast Asian country.
The cover girl was originally paid 3 million for the design deal, but will earn far more if her collection goes on sale in China, thanks in part to the country’s booming economy.
It’s understood Topshop owner Sir Philip Green, who visited his star designer in Ibiza last week, is looking to establish retail outlets in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong, and is convinced the collections will go down a storm with the fashion-forward Chinese.
Meanwhile generous Kate has been using some of her earnings to spoil her daughter Lila Grace’s nanny. The covergirl, who’s holidaying in Ibiza with a group of celeb pals, treated Mary Davidson – who’s Sadie Frost’s mum – to a luxurious breakfast of smoked salmon and champagne to mark her 60th birthday on Wednesday. It was followed a treat- and present-filled day aboard a yacht.
Amanda Beard strips for good cause
U.S. Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard has launched a protest against fur in Beijing. The former Playboy model unveiled her picture in the middle of Beijing’s Olympic Square Village! That is ballzy!
Amanda posed for P.E.T.A. (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) with the slogan, “Be comfortable in your own skin — don’t wear fur.”
P.E.T.A. is protesting the way for importing furs that in order to make “electrocute, poison and skin animals alive.”
Johansson says kiss with Penelope not sexy!
As previously stated by Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson says their shared kiss was not sexy at all! Johannson said, “There wer about 60 crewmen sitting around eating salami sandwiches! It’s really the least sexy thing you can ever imagine!”
Yeah sure! Those guys eating salami were totally turned on! Especially that pervert Woody Allen, I bet he was turned on by this whole event.
Penelope is even bored with the questions surrounding this phenomenon known as PenJo. She states, “She and I have been asked that question a thousand times, and we are sorry that we don’t have any funny stories to tell you about it.”

Jessica strips online for Tony Romo!
Jessica Simpson is not too shy for her rumored fiance Tony Romo. When they are apart Jessica switches on her webcam and does her best Pussycat Doll impressions for him.
A pal said: “Jess has no problem showing Tony her favorite “Pussycat Doll” routine. She will dance in front of her camera until she makes her man happy.”
The pal added, “Jess does get paranoid, making sure Tony doesn’t have any of his Cowboy’s buddies peeking in on the show.”
Christian Siriano to make Fashion Week Debut!
Project Runway winner Christian Siriano will make his New York Fashion Week debut on September 11th. He will be showing off his Spring Summer 2009 collection at a special off-site location, not at the tradition Bryant Park location. The show will start at 7pm right before one of my fave designers, Zac Posen.
Louis Vuitton wins lawsuit!
Fashion house Louis Vuitton has won a lawsuit against Sony BMG for the improper use of their logo by Britney Spears, Ruben Studdard and Da Brat.
Louis Vuitton won an undisclosed sum after battling the label for the past five years. The amount of the earnings is estimated to be near $300,000. The design house didn’t like the use of the Louis Vuitton brand in a Da Brat video back in 2003, when the rapper was seen playing with an LV-printed beach ball then Britney was in a pink Hummer with an LV-patterned dashboard in the “Do Somethin” video. American Idol Ruben Studdard wore a LV jacket on the cover for his 2006 album “The Return.”
“We believe the terms of this agreement will provide strong protection to our brand worldwide,” Nathalie Moulle-Berteaux, a spokesperson for LV said. She adds that the label also agreed “to educate its record labels,” which include Arista, Columbia and Epic, about copyright laws.
Damn! I didn’t realize that you couldn’t do that?! If you own something aren’t you allowed to wear it in a video or in a picture?

I could watch James Franco with a movie on mute. He is so hot! I don’t know how I feel about the whole stoner/action comedy but I know I am sold with the team of Franco and Rogen.
