Oprah Winfrey is crazy for Jay-Z. The talk show host isn’t into the man for his music, she thinks he smells good.
“Jay-Z is my new best friend. He was so charming and delightful – and he smelled so good. It’s the kind of thing where you hug a guy and the scent is sort of buried in them. When we went to the second location I could still smell him on me. It was like, ‘Oh my, this is wonderful!’” she told O-Radio.
But she might be in on the look out for a new man. The National Enquirer reports that after 23 years together, Oprah and Stedman Graham have called it quits. According to the tabloid, Graham officially moved out of Oprah’s Chicago home after the 55-year-old daytime diva’s decision to take Gayle King on a 14-day vacation cruise, instead of him.
According to National Enquirer magazine, he told Oprah he was “tired of being disrespected.”
Mila Kunis calls Macaulay her ‘rock’
Actress Mila Kunis is calling her boyfriend Macaulay Culkin her “steady rock”.
Kunis has been dating the “Home Alone” actor since 2002 but the two are rarely seen out together and often refuse to discuss their romance with the media.
But Kunis said Culkin plays a huge role in her life because they’ve grown up together, surviving several difficult periods and the trappings of Hollywood at one another’s side.
“I don’t know if I met him at 27 if it would have been a different relationship. We grew up together. You find a steady rock in your life and that’s all you need. We have our ups and downs, but work through them,” she told Women’s Health magazine.
Jason Schwartzman weds
Jason Schwartzman has married his girlfriend Brady Cunningham.
The “Funny People” actor and the eco-friendly fashion designer had a low-key wedding ceremony at their San Fernando Valley home last month.
“It was a very small ceremony with many family members and close friends,” said Schwartzman.
The couple had dated for three years before Schwartzman proposed earlier this year.
Before he started acting, Schwartzman was a drummer and songwriter for the band Phantom Planet, and still composes music for films.
Jeff Goldblum is a pervy old man
Jeff Goldblum is a cradle robber. The actor is dating a woman 35 years his junior.
Goldblum, 56, was seen making out with “Lost” actress Tania Raymonde, 21, during a meal at Los Angeles’ Toast Bakery Cafe.
“Despite the age-gap, Jeff and Tania appeared smitten with one another and couldn’t keep their hands to themselves,” said a witness.
Goldblum has previously been married to Patricia Gaul, who he was wed to for six years from 1980 to 1986, and actress Geena Davis from 1987 to 1990.
Raymonde played Alex Rousseau in “Lost” and also appeared in the 2009 season finale of Goldblum’s show, “Law and Order: Criminal Intent.”
Jon Gosselin looking to jump ship from TLC show?
Jon Gosselin has been a naughty boy. Again. This time reality star is pissing off his network, TLC.
TMZ reports Jon is in talks with Endemol, a major production company, to appear in a show called “Divorced Dad’s Club,” which will chronicle the lives of famous divorced fathers.
Producers have talked to Jon, but he’s concerned about his TLC contract. That may not be much of a concern for long because TLC is not happy with his conduct lately on “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”
According to TMZ, high ups fired off a letter to him, claiming he was in violation of the morals clause of his contract, partly because he’s been seen going in and out of bars and drinking.
Celebuwhore Kate reportedly has the kids more than 60 percent of the time as Jon revisits his lost use, supposedly because she’s concerned for the children’s welfare, emotionally and financially (except for that whole exploitation thing, she’s not real worried about that).
The money the family made last season of the show reportedly went into a joint account. Jon and Kate each took a cut, but Jon spent his share. Kate put a big chunk of the money into a college fund for the kids, so not much was left over (that sounds remarkably like a Kate-friendly source who overlooked her spa days, trips across country and the like).
For this season, sources say a judge gave Kate control of the family finances because she was deemed the more responsible party. Jon supposedly has limited access to the account and Kate’s people say Jon is making money on the side by selling pictures and stories of him and the kids to the tabloids.
Robert Pattinson says he’s still single
Stop raising hopes and bringing them down again, RPattz. Robert Pattinson has denied reports he is secretly dating his “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart, insisting he is still completely single.
The pair were photographed snuggling at a Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday during a break from pre-production for “Eclipse.”
But Pattinson insists he’s single, though he doesn’t know why.
“I don’t have a girlfriend. I don’t know why. You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you’re like ‘I’m a big movie star and I want to go out with some models’ but I don’t know why that doesn’t happen,” he said.
“It’s especially different in L.A. Most of the women there are actresses and by default that makes them a little bit nuts – not that that’s a bad thing. But I don’t really have a type. Whenever I get asked who my favorite celebrity crush is, I have no idea.”
Robin Wright Penn at a ‘crossroads’ with marriage
Robin Wright Penn is at a “crossroads” in her relationship with philandering husband Sean Penn.
Wright Penn said she and her Oscar Award-winning husband, who called off divorce proceedings in May, are living apart after she realized what she wants from life.
“I hit that crossroad a while ago. The ‘I know what I don’t want’ was flashing in neon lights. I have no regrets. I, we, have two amazing children we raised together,” she said. “There’s no limbo anymore. There’s no time. I’m too old for this shit.”
In April, Penn filed for separation from his wife but a month later asked California’s Marin County Superior Court to dismiss the case claiming it was an “arrogant mistake”.
Wright Penn said she’s looking forward to moving on with her life, especially her film career.
“There’s clarity of life now. I think I’ve always been a follow-the-leader with my career, or maybe waiting for things to happen. Now I’m like, ‘I’m OK,’ I know the direction, whoever’s on board can go with me.”
Madonna proclaims her love for Jesus
Madonna has called Jesus Luz “the love of her life”.
At her 51st birthday party in Portofino, Italy Sunday, the singer praised the 22-year-old Brazilian model before running across the room to passionately kiss him.
As friends looked on, Madonna gushed: “He’s the love of my life. He has been so strong around me. I can’t thank him enough.”
On Monday, the couple looked blissfully happy as they boarded a luxury yacht with Madonna’s children, Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight, Mercy, four, and David, three.
As the children played on the deck, Madonna and Jesus, with their built in couple name, frolicked in the ocean.
“She and Jesus looked madly in love and it was great to see her looking so happy. They just looked like any normal family enjoying a holiday together,” a source said.
Designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana organized her Italian birthday bash.
But the pair were reportedly so “terrified” she wouldn’t be happy with it they had to take herbal relaxation treatments to calm their nerves.
“The designers pulled out all the stops for Madonna. This was just one of three celebrations and Domenico and Stefano had laid on a feast,” said a source.
“The trio have been friends for years, but even they were terrified before the event. Stefano even took a homeopathic remedy to relax. But he needn’t have worried, the whole thing was a roaring success.”
John Cleese’s pricey divorce
John Cleese is having one expensive breakup. The Monty Pyton star has been ordered by a California court to pay about $20 million to his third wife, Alyce Faye Eichelberger. The ruling leaves her richer than him.
Cleese, 69, has been forced into agreeing to a settlement worth $13 million in cash and assets, as well as $1 million annually for the next seven years.
It is estimated he will be left with a fortune of around $17 million.
“I got off lightly. Think what I’d have had to pay if she’d contributed anything!” kidded the star.
Director and Cleese’s friend Michael Winner said, “The result is extraordinary. Alyce lived in a council flat when they met.
“As he put it, ‘What I find so unfair is that if we both died today, her children would get much more than mine.’
“There are no dependant children. If ever there was a case for prenuptial agreements, this is it.”
Cleese has two adult children, Cynthia and Camilla, from his marriages to actresses Connie Booth and Barbara Trentham respectively, while Eichelberger has two sons from her previous marriage.
The couple, who married in 1992, have been battling it out for more than a year and a half.
Originally Eichelberger had been claiming $1.4 million-a-year maintenance, two houses and half of all earnings Cleese had amassed during their marriage.
Cleese split from his previous wives amicably and without the need for lawyers.
He previously said of his divorce from Eichelberger: “It’s going to be very, very expensive, but it will be worth every penny.”
Ashlee Simpson’s drunken fight
Nothing like a drunken fight to prove you’re really married. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz called her husband “horrible” during a drunken public argument.
Wentz was DJing at the first anniversary of his Chicago bar Angels and Kings Saturday when his wife took aim, before insisting he take her home early.
A source told Perez Hilton: “Pete was in the DJ booth when Ashlee came up completely wasted and yelled at him to leave. They fought, she told him he was horrible in front of a whole group of people and made him leave his own party early. So they make a scene and leave the bar.”
Sources say Simpson-Wentz was “beyond drunk” and the pair were still arguing as they left.
When someone tried to take a photo of the couple, Simpson-Wentz “chased the guy down the street and made him erase the pictures”.
The couple were then ushered into a car by their security team and taken home.
She denied the fight via Twitter.
She tweeted to Perez: “Your story is WAY off. my husband is an amazing dj and was dedicating songs to me. We were just havin fun. Our love is amazing. (sic)”
Perez insisted the story was accurate, posting on his own micro blog: “I don’t want to name names and get people fired but several of the people I spoke with work at Angels and Kings. I’m not wrong.”
Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston going at it
Miley Cyrus isn’t having quite the civil break up with Justin Gaston she’d planned. The actress and singer is having a war of words via Twitter with the underwear model from whom she split in June after around a year of dating.
Gaston started the argument by writing on his page: “People mistake stupidity for bravery way too easily.”
Cyrus, 16, quickly replied: “Yeah. I love when people mistake bravery with writing a few stupid tweets trying to make it seem like they don’t care. You’re afraid to love.”
Going by past tweets, Cyrus appears to still have feelings for her ex.
Last week she wrote: “I am in between happy and sad today. I’m happy because I love you. I’m sad because I can’t get enough of you.”
Since the break-up, both have been constantly posting their feelings about one another and the split on Twitter.
Gaston wrote: “Just recorded a demo. Now I’m sitting on the couch wondering why we as humans try to pretend everything’s OK when it isn’t. Just be real.”
Cyrusreplied: “Everything IS ok. Honestly. I can’t change you’re mind and your heart no longer belongs to me. Maybe YOU’RE the one pretending you’re fine (sic).”
Amy Winehouse wants Blake back?
With her divorce not quite yet final, singer Amy Winehouse has reportedly begged her estranged husband to take her back.
According to a friend of the couple, Winehouse told Blake Fielder-Civil she wants to call off their divorce and give their marriage another go during an emotional phone call.
“Blake was absolutely stunned when Amy called. He couldn’t believe it. It has been such a long time and so much has happened,” said the source.
“She told him she still loved him and missed him and wanted him back. She said to him, ‘Come home to me. Be with me.’ Amy asked him, ‘Do you love me?’ Blake told her, ‘I love you. You know I do’.
“Blake told her that if she can stay clear of the drugs there is a chance for them.”
The couple married in 2007 and were recently granted a decree nisi, preliminary to a final divorce. Fielder-Civil recently got out of jail and both have been trying to get themselves clean of drugs.
Her maybe-ex-husband is still in rehab while Winehouse recently returned to London from an eight-month stay in St. Lucia.
Fielder-Civil seems to think they can be in each other’s lives if they’re clean and sober.
He told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: “We’ve been talking for the first time in months.
“I love her as much as ever. I know she still loves me, even though we’re getting divorced. Maybe this time we can do everything properly and not mess it up.
“She is looking beautiful and healthy now and it reminds me of the old Amy. She has been wearing my engagement ring and it meant an awful lot.
“I did something wrong and went to prison. I got clean. Amy flew off somewhere hot, got clean. It was meant to be that way.
“We were pushing things to the extreme with our drug-taking and it could never have carried on that way. I want to take her out for dinner and propose again. I hope that within five minutes we’ll be planning where we’re next going to get married.”
Pattinson and Stewart get close at concert
They should have saved this shot for closer to the “New Moon” premiere. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted nuzzling while out with the cast and crew of “Eclipse” at a Miku, a sushi restaurant in Vancouver.
The two were very close during dinner, taking smoke breaks together and even leaving together.
On Saturday, they also snuggled at a Kings of Leon concert, when they weren’t laughing and smoking cigarettes.
“They’ve decided to be more public about going out now,” an insider told Us Weekly. “They’re not boyfriend and girlfriend, but they’ve definitely hooked up.”
Their Twilight costars are supportive.
“If they want to date each other, fine!” said Billy Burke, who plays Stewart’s dad. “Look, when you’re that age, you’re going to make mistakes. You’re going to date people you probably shouldn’t date. It’s all part of the growing process.”
Jon and Kate Gosselin meet up after blow up
More details on the latest bit of drama for the Gosselin family. Jon and Kate Gosselin met up Friday, one day after police were summoned to their Pennsylvania estate and forced Kate to leave their home.
On Thursday evening, Kate showed up unexpectedly and Jon refused to open the gate for her.
“It was a miscommunication. Kate said she was coming home, and I said, ‘Well, it’s my time to spend with the kids.’ I don’t come home when she’s with the kids, and vice versa — and that’s how it’s supposed to be,” Jon explained, adding that Kate tried to “cry it up” to convince the cop to let her stay.
Jon said Kate had a problem with nanny Stephanie Santoro (a 23-year-old single mother who also works as a “shooter girl” selling shots at local club Legends). According to Us Weekly, Jon and Santoro had a night together back on Aug. 1.
“I guess she didn’t agree with my babysitting,” he admitted.
When Jon’s not-so-better-half, arrived at their $1.1 million house Friday afternoon, she got a big hug from one of her twins.
But when she and Jon appeared spoke, Kate defensively placed her hand on her chest, while one of their twins and a few of their sextuplets looked toward the ground with serious faces.
After the meet up, Jon drove away. The former couple have said they will trade off living in their estate depending on who has custody of the children. Which is possibly the only good thing they’ve done recently.
Alyssa Milano weds
Actress Alyssa Milano wed this weekend. The “My Name is Earl” star got hitched Saturday to her boyfriend, David Bugliari, a CAA agent, in New Jersey.
The couple swapped vows at his parents’ home.
Milano got engaged in December and this is her second marriage. She was also once engaged to actor Scott Wolf.
“I’ve gotten such shit about my dating choices,” she told Details magazine in 2007 of her tendency to go for Major League pitchers (including Carl Pavano, Barry Zito and Brad Penny). “Like, every single article … is about how I’m ‘the chick that dates athletes… I’d love to just find a good plumber or doctor.”
PD comes a-knockin’ at the Gosselin residence
Police in eastern Pennsylvania report they responded to an argument at the home of Jon and Kate Gosselin.
Lower Heidelberg police say they calmed the situation down after going to the home at 7:05 p.m. Thursday. There were no arrests or citations. Police did not say who was involved in the incident or cite the reason for the argument, but I’m going to gamble it was our two little love birds.
The TLC show is back on the air after a hiatus following the Gosselins’ breakup in June. New episodes document the Gosselins “separately parenting” their eight children. I suspect this little incident won’t make it to air.
Gibson’s girlfriend says she’s no ‘other woman’
Mel Gibson’s pregnant girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is tired of her scarlet letter. The singer claims she didn’t end his marriage and insists she has no control over who she falls in love with.
Gibson filed for divorce from his wife of 28 years, Robyn, in April, and announced a month later that he was expecting his eighth child with his musician lover. The actor claims he and his wife were separated for three years before they filed for divorce, but that hasn’t stopped reports that Grigorieva broke up the couple’s lengthy marriage.
“It’s not like I was planning to meet Mel specifically. Life happens.There was a working relationship for a long time,” said Grigorieva, a classical pianist who is set to release her first album with Gibson’s recording company.
“I thought he was happily married until I was reassured otherwise. And then it happened. We live in the same city. I don’t control who I meet. I meet many people in art and music and film, but love is inexplicable.”
Grigorieva has a 12 year old son with Bond actor Timothy Dalton.
Renee Zellweger spanks Bradley Cooper
Move over Jennifer Aniston. Renee Zellweger squeezed the Charmin, grabbing rumored boyfriend Bradley Cooper’s butt during a trip to Barcelona.
The “Case 39″ co-stars flew to the Spanish city on Saturday and witnesses claim they couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed several romantic dinners.
“Bradley and Renee seem smitten with each other and at one point she cheekily grabbed his behind,” said one source.
The couple reportedly began dating last month after they were seen flirting during dinner at exclusive New York restaurant Antonucci.
An onlooker said: “He pulled her chair out for her when she sat down and he kissed her on the hand. If they’re just friends, they were being awfully affectionate!
“Throughout the meal they were playful and flirty. She played with her hair a lot, and she would often touch his arm when she was making a point about something.
“At one point, he seemed to want to whisper something to her as if it were a secret. He spoke into her ear and then they both started giggling.”
Zellweger surprised Cooper by secretly paying the bill before he had a chance to.
“She told him she wanted to buy him dinner to pay him back for something. And when he opened the bill, it already had her card in it!” said the source.
Jude Law’s fears of singledom
Jude Law apparently thinks being hot, rich and famous isn’t a lifelong turn on. The “Sherlock Holmes” actor claims that though he’s happy to be out of a relationship at the moment, he fears he will be single for the rest of his life.
“I am very happy, I feel very settled with myself in my world. I don’t feel as needy and desperate to prove things about myself. In my twenties I was very keen to achieve this and disprove this and that. Now I enjoy just being able to concentrate on my children and my and myself. But it doesn’t mean I’ll be single for the rest of my life – I hope.” he said. Law has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost and a kid on the way with one-night-stand Samantha Burke.
Law has no intention of leaving the UK to look for that special someone.
He told Britain’s OK! magazine: “It does kind of baffle me sometimes that people always ask me, ‘When are you going to move here?’ There is a misconception that you have to live in Hollywood to make it big there and equally that you choose not to live there because you hate it. I mean, it doesn’t always have to be an extreme – I love to come to Hollywood!”
Anna Faris and Chris Pratt wed
Anna Faris is now a bride. This time for real.
The actress tied the knot with her actor fiance Chris Pratt in a low-key ceremony in Bali on July 9.
And this time her rep confirms it: “Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were married in a small ceremony in Bali.”
The pair got engaged last year and rumor had it they got hitched in Hawaii, but the story turned out untrue. Then Pratt sparked speculation they had wed after he was seen sporting a gold band on his ring finger on Tuesday.
In May, the actress said she didn’t want a big, white wedding and was considering eloping.
“We aren’t going to involve the family at all. Then we will go on a honeymoon,” she said. “We’re thinking of getting married before the end of this year, but we are still sorting that out. I just don’t want anything big or fussy.
“I have a good girlfriend who is getting married and she’s got 13 bridesmaids. So that’s not quite my style. Whatever it is, it is going to require a lot of alcohol!”
