Tyra Banks goes au natural

Tyra Banks is taking it all off. In this case, her weave. In the season premiere of her self-titled talk show Tuesday, she revealed her real hair to her fans.

“It’s just me coming straight out of the shower with wet hair, ” said Banks, who is on a crusade of late to help women with self-esteem and body image issues.

Paramore covers Kings of Leon. Awesomely.

Paramore has done a fantastic cover of the Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody”. Check it out:

Madonna’s ‘Celebration’ video

With the right lighting, Madonna looks both young and human. She’s got a new video out, “Celebration”

Vid: Lego stop-motion awesome

Legos are awesome. Stop motion is awesome. Put them together and you’ve got a video made of win:

Vid: The Wills vs. The Andys

There is something about comedians and balls that just make for good videos. But in this case, it’s tennis balls. Will Arnett and Will Ferrell paired up with tennis stars Andy Rodick and Andy Murray. in a charity match over the weekend at Flushing Meadows in NYC. Kenan Thompson, outfitted in a padded vest, “umpired” the match, which was a timed seven minutes.

‘Thriller’ comes to Mexico City

Michael Jackson is gone, but definitely not forgotten. At least not by the 12,000 people performing “Thriller” on the streets of Mexico City on Saturday. Check it out:

100 years of effects in five minutes

As someone who’s seen nearly all the summer blockbusters for a decade or so, I do love the visual effects and so should you. Check out this clip of 100 years of visual effects in five minutes:

Vid: ‘Do You Want to Date My Avatar?’

Felicia Day is the new geek girl du jour thanks to “Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog” and has more geek goodness in her new “Do You Want to Date My Avatar?” video from The Guild. Check it out:

Vid: Little kid parallel parking

This kid parallel parks better than most adults (and is about as proud as I am when I do it):

New ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ trailer

I’m still excited about “Where the Wild Things Are” but much like a hot girl at the bar, when there’s talking involved, I’m less enthused. Still, check out the new trailer:

“Where the Wild Things Are” is set for release Oct. 16.

Spoof: ‘Inglourious Plummers’

I’m already a bigger fan of this than the one with Brad Pitt saying “yesyesyesyesyes” to Hitler. Check out the video spoof, “Inglourious Plummer”:

Guy catches laptop with his behind

The Internet is all about the promotion of vaguely pornographic videos. And this commercial for the MSI Global slim computer promotes basically the fact that this guy can catch it with his butt:

‘Send It On’ official video

The Disney kids aren’t just wholesome-looking money machines. They luvs the world and want you to pay it forward send it on. And they’re singing about it in the “Send It On” official video:

‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ trailer

“The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” trailer has hit the Web and while I doubt it will be a commercial success for more than having a dead Heath Ledger in it, it looks pretty good:

The Ballad of G.I. Joe

I’m in flyover country, but I’m one of those “godless liberals” so I didn’t go to G.I. Joe last weekend (yet I loved the cartoon when I was little).

“The Ballad of G.I. Joe” is a much better cast and much worthier of your time. Check it out:

‘Post Grad’ trailer

Ah Rory, Alexis Bleidel, I’ve missed you so. Unlike her Gilmore Girls persona, Bleidel’s on-screen persona in her new movie “Post Grad” is facing a post-college life a little more in keeping with the reality: unemployment. (Of course, she will end up with a good job and a hot man by the end of it, not so much how it usually goes)

Check out the trailer.

The Sound of Music in Antwerp

I love a good prank and I love performance art, so it’s no surprise this impromptu performance of “Do Re Mi” in Antwerp’s Central Station tickles my funny bone:

‘Vampire Assistant’ preview

If you’re not so into “Twilight” and want a little alternative vampire programming, Paul Weitz has a movie for you. The co-director of “American Pie” and “About a Boy” has a new vampiric comedy to compete with his brother Chris Weitz’s “New Moon” (yeah, it’ll gross maybe 10 percent of the newest “Twilight” movie)

“Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant” is about a young boy named Darren Shan, who meets a mysterious man at a freak show who turns out to be a vampire. After a series of events Darren must leave his normal life and go on the road with the Cirque Du Freak and become a Vampire.

‘District 9′ Restricted clip

Must not get too excited about District 9. Must. not. Except this clip looking incredibly awesome:

Vid: Multicolored multitasking

This is a fantastic bunch of skills, but completely useless and unmarketable. Watch as some kid both solves the Rubik’s cube and plays Guitar Hero. If only this kid would try to cure cancer (unfortunately World of Warcraft is probably taking up too much of his time):
